Monthly draw terms

1. Promoter

The promoter is Jarmos Group Pty Ltd (ABN 49 682 682 604, ACN 682 682 604), Queensland 4210, Australia, trading as StryderIQ. Contact: support@stryderiq.app. The promoter pays every prize.

2. Promotion period

Each draw covers one calendar month, starting at 12:00am on the first day and ending at 11:59pm on the last day of the month, Australian Eastern Standard Time (Brisbane). Each month is a separate promotion. The first promotion period starts when the StryderIQ app is first available to download, and the first draw runs after that month closes.

3. Who can enter

  • Australian residents aged 18 or over with a StryderIQ account in good standing.
  • Free entry. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Every runner, with or without a StryderIQ Pro subscription, earns entries the same way and is eligible on the same terms. A Pro subscription gives no extra entries and no better odds, and nothing you can buy increases your chances.
  • To be included in a month's draw you must have confirmed your date of birth in the app and recorded at least one GPS-verified run in that month that is not held for a fairness review.
  • Employees of the promoter and their immediate families, and anyone involved in running the promotion, cannot win.

4. How to earn entries

  • Entries are earned by running: one entry for each full kilometre of a run recorded with GPS in the StryderIQ app during the promotion period.
  • Streak bonuses: one extra entry per qualifying run on a 3 day streak, three extra on a 7 day streak.
  • Invite bonus: 10 entries each for the inviter and the invited runner when the invited runner completes their first run of at least 2 km within 14 days of joining. Each inviter can earn this for up to 20 invites per 30 days.
  • Entries are capped at 25 per day from runs. Runs under 1 km, or with an average pace faster than 2:30 per km, earn no entries.
  • The promoter may remove entries from runs that appear to be recorded in a vehicle, edited, duplicated or otherwise not genuine, and may disqualify accounts that try to manipulate the draw.

5. Prize

One prize is awarded each month: a cash amount paid by Jarmos Group Pty Ltd by bank transfer. The amount is set by the announced prize tier that matches the number of active runners in the month when the draw runs. An active runner is a runner with at least one GPS-verified run in that month that is not held for a fairness review. The prize is not a share of subscription revenue.

  • $500 cash AUD at launch, with any number of active runners
  • $1,000 cash AUD with 1,000 or more active runners
  • $2,500 cash AUD with 5,000 or more active runners
  • $5,000 cash AUD with 10,000 or more active runners

The tiers for each month are shown on the draw page before the month starts and will not be reduced during the month. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged.

6. The 100 km pool

Separately from the draw, every runner who meets the entry conditions in clause 3 and who records at least 100 km of qualifying GPS runs in a calendar month, shares equally in that month's pool (announced on the draw page, $1,000 AUD at launch). No purchase is needed for the pool, it is not a game of chance, and it is paid by the promoter by bank transfer.

7. Pro perks

StryderIQ Pro members get cosmetic extras only, such as a Pro badge next to their name on leaderboards and a monthly Pro profile look. These have no effect on entries, odds, eligibility or prizes.

8. The draw

The draw is conducted electronically in Queensland within 5 business days after the month ends. A random seed is generated and stored, a winning ticket is calculated from it, and the seed, total entries and ticket number are published on the draw page. Every eligible entry has an equal chance of being drawn.

9. Winner notification and claiming

The winner is notified by email and in the app within 2 business days of the draw and must respond within 14 days with proof of identity, age and bank details. If the prize is not claimed in that time, a redraw is conducted electronically in the same way on the next business day. The winner's first name, last initial and suburb will be published on the draw page, with their consent where required by law.

10. Permits

Authorised under permit numbers: NSW [to be confirmed], ACT [to be confirmed], SA [to be confirmed]. Permit requirements depend on the prize value and are confirmed before each promotion.

11. Apple and Google

Apple is not a sponsor of, and is not involved in, this promotion in any way. The same applies to Google. Questions should be directed to the promoter, not to Apple or Google.

12. General

  • The promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  • If the promotion cannot run as planned because of anything outside the promoter's reasonable control, the promoter may change, suspend or cancel it, subject to any directions from a regulator.
  • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Personal information is handled under our privacy policy and is used to run the promotion and contact the winner.
