How entries work
1 entry per km
Every full kilometre of a GPS tracked run is one entry. Runs under 1 km, or faster than 2:30 per km, don't count.
Streak bonuses
Run 3 days in a row for +1 entry per run, 7 days for +3. Entries cap at 25 a day.
Bring a mate
When someone you invite finishes their first 2 km run, you both get 10 bonus entries.
Open to every runner
Free and Pro runners are in the draw on the same terms. No purchase necessary, and Pro never adds entries or improves odds.
One ticket wins
Each entry is a ticket. A random seed picks one ticket out of the total, so more km means better odds.
Fair play checks
Flagged runs are reviewed before the draw. Vehicle speeds, GPS jumps and duplicate runs are removed.
Past draws
Winners are shown by first name, initial and suburb only, with their permission.Check a draw yourself
- When the month closes, the draw generates a random 32 character seed and stores it before anything else happens.
- The winning ticket is the first 15 characters of the seed read as a hexadecimal number, divided by the total entries. The remainder plus one is the ticket.
- Runners are lined up in a fixed order and each owns a block of tickets the size of their entries. The block that contains the ticket wins.
- The seed, total entries and ticket are published here and can never be changed. The draw cannot be run twice for the same month.
